While enterprise teams evaluate tools quickly, rolling them out across a large, dynamic set of teams shouldn’t slow the process down.
That’s why Stark now supports SCIM, letting you sync identities from your identity provider directly with Stark’s team management. With it, user and group provisioning becomes automatic — reducing manual work, minimizing admin overhead, and shrinking the time between procurement and adoption.
What SCIM actually does
A major friction point after adopting software is keeping information accurate over time. With SCIM connected to your identity provider, Stark will:
-
Automatically provision users into the right teams and roles
-
Keep group membership up to date as it changes upstream
-
Deprovision accounts when people leave or change teams
Stark mirrors your existing org structure automatically. That means no manual invites, no CSV uploads, and no discrepancy between your IAM system and Stark’s user roster. So if someone exists in your directory, they exist in Stark — with the right access, every time.
Why this matters for enterprise adoption
Fast, consistent onboarding
Adding new users in your identity provider now automatically makes them available in Stark. For large teams and distributed orgs, this eliminates tedious invite workflows and accelerates initial rollout and future expansions.
Accurate access without admin lift
When roles or team membership change in your directory, Stark’s team roster reflects it immediately and accurately — reducing risk and removing the need for ongoing user cleanup.
Lower operational overhead
Most enterprise security and IT teams expect identity automation as a baseline. SCIM complements other advanced auth features like SSO and JIT provisioning, making Stark fit cleanly into existing identity infrastructure — freeing your IT and product teams to focus on strategic work instead of manual teamwork.
SCIM is available for teams on our Scale plan. Once configured, Stark stays in sync with your organization automatically, so your teams can focus on using the product instead of managing it.
